Celebrate 245 years of history with this gorgeous cockade! Approximately 3" wide with a silver-plated pin back, this cockade features the famous painting by Emanuel Leutze. Choose a patriotic red, white and blue or the black and white of George Washington's military cockade!
On December 25, 1776, 245 years ago, General George Washington and a small army of 2400 men crossed the Delaware River at McConkey's Ferry, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, on their way to successfully attack a Hessian garrison of 1500 at Trenton, New Jersey. This march, at one of the lowest points of the American Revolution, gave the Patriots new hope after their failed effort to keep the British from occupying New York City.

People in the past wore a cockade to tell a story about themselves. I love researching what those stories were and why people wanted to tell them. People today have stories to tell too, so that's what motivates me to keep making cockades! What's your story and how can I help you tell it better?
