This is a lovely cockade that had multiple uses at our recent Lafayette Bicentennial celebrations. I wore it myself, and used it for gifts. It's quite well made and I bought multiple ones over time.
French Tricolor Lapel Cockade
Product Details
Shortly after the Bastille fell, the Marquis de Lafayette designed the tri-color cockade. It became the symbol of the French Revolution and later of the Republic. It combined red and blue, the colors of Paris, with the royal color of white. The fleur de lis has been the historic symbol of France. This striking cockade is approximately 2.5" across.
